FAQs

Is there an age limit?

There is no official age limit, but this performance is recommended for children ages 3+.

Regardless of age, every person admitted into the auditorium must have their own ticket, sit in a seat, and be able to sit quietly through the entire performance. Out of consideration for our patrons and other audience members, if a child is disruptive you will be asked to temporarily leave the auditorium until the child has settled down.

May I take pictures?

Flash photography is not permitted as it might distract the dancers. Photography with the flash off is permitted as long as you do not disrupt other audience members or block the view of those sitting behind you.

Can I enroll my child for classes?

TBSC is a non-profit performing arts company, and does not offer any ballet classes.

The students who perform in TBSC attend regular classes at The Ballet Slipper, which is a separate company owned by Miss Diane Geragotelis. To receive more information about classes and enrollment, please contact Miss Diane at 360.929.5828 or email balletslipper@comcast.net.

When should I arrive at the performance?

The doors and Will Call will open 1 hour prior to each performance; seating begins 45 minutes prior to showtime.

Will snacks be available?

There are no food or drinks are allowed in the auditorium section during the performance because we are guests of the Oak Harbor High School, but there will be food and beverages available for sale during intermission for consumption in the cafeteria.
